The Magic Words

In a small town, there lived a boy named Ryan. He was smart and playful, but he had one big problem—he never said "please" or "thank you."

Whenever he wanted something, he would demand it rudely. “Give me that toy!” he would say. If someone helped him, he never bothered to thank them. His parents reminded him to use polite words, but he never listened.

One day, Ryan went to a magical candy shop. The shopkeeper, an old man with twinkling eyes, smiled at him.

“I want that big chocolate bar!” Ryan said.

The shopkeeper shook his head. “I can only give candy to those who use the magic words.

Ryan frowned. “Magic words? What are those?”

The old man chuckled. “Try saying ‘please’ when you ask for something and ‘thank you’ when you receive it.”

Ryan was curious, so he tried it. “Can I have the chocolate, please?”

The moment he said "please," the chocolate magically floated off the shelf and landed in his hands!

Ryan was amazed. “Wow! Thank you!” he said. And suddenly, more candies appeared in front of him.

The old man smiled. “See? Kind words bring magic into your life.”

From that day on, Ryan always used "please" and "thank you." He realized that people were happier to help him, and he made more friends. The magic was real—it was the magic of good manners!

Moral of the Story:

Politeness and kindness open doors to happiness and good relationships.
