One day, a mighty lion was sleeping in the jungle when a tiny mouse ran across his paw. The lion woke up, caught the mouse, and was about to eat it. The frightened mouse pleaded, "Please spare me! If you let me go today, I might be able to help you someday!"
The lion laughed at the thought of a tiny mouse helping him but decided to let it go.
A few days later, hunters trapped the lion in a net. He roared in distress, and the little mouse heard him. Rushing to help, the mouse quickly gnawed through the ropes, setting the lion free.
The lion was amazed and thanked the mouse. From that day on, they became good friends.
Moral of the Story:
-
Kindness is never wasted.
-
Even the smallest friend can be a big help.
