Tilly and the Time-Traveling Toad

One sunny afternoon, little Tilly was exploring her backyard when she heard a strange sound:

“Ribbit… Ready for an adventure?”

She spun around—and there, sitting on her favorite rock, was a chubby green toad wearing tiny glasses and a sparkling purple backpack.

“You can talk?” Tilly gasped.

“Of course I can,” the toad replied. “Name’s Tobias. I’m a time-traveling toad! Hop on my back, and we’ll see the world... long ago!

Tilly’s eyes sparkled. “Can we really?”

ZAP! WHOOSH!
Suddenly, they were standing in a jungle with giant trees... and even giant-er creatures!

“DINOSAURS!” Tilly squealed.

A friendly triceratops nibbled on some leaves nearby. “Hello, little one,” she said kindly. “Watch out for Rexy—he’s a bit grumpy before lunch!”

Tilly giggled and gave her a pet before Tobias said, “Time for the next stop!”

WHOOSH! SPLASH!

They landed on a rocking pirate ship in the middle of the sea. “Ahoy!” shouted a girl pirate with a feathered hat. “Come help us find treasure!”

Tilly danced with the crew, helped read a treasure map, and even found a chest filled with shiny shells and sparkling stones. “This is the best day ever!” she laughed.

“Not done yet,” said Tobias. “One more stop!”

WHIRR! ZOOM!

They arrived in a place full of gears and flying papers. “Welcome to Ancient Greece!” said a man with messy hair and an armful of scrolls. “I’m Archimedes! Want to help me invent something amazing?”

Tilly nodded, and together they made a floating bathtub that played music!

As the sun began to set, Tobias tapped his backpack. “Time to go home, Tilly.”

Back in her backyard, everything looked just the same—but Tilly’s heart was full of stories.

“Will we travel again?” she asked.

Tobias gave a wink. “Whenever you’re ready, just listen for the ribbit.”

Ribbit. The End.
