Once upon a time, in a sky full of twinkling stars, there was a tiny star named Luma. Unlike the other stars, Luma wasn’t the brightest or the biggest, but she had the biggest dream—she wanted to shine the brightest in the whole sky!
Every night, Luma tried her best to twinkle as much as she could. She watched the big stars sparkle and wished she could be like them. “One day, I’ll be the brightest of them all!” she told herself.
But the other stars laughed. “You’re too small, Luma,” said one. “You’ll never shine as bright as us,” said another.
Luma felt sad but didn’t give up. She decided to ask the Moon for advice. The wise old Moon smiled and said, “Luma, it’s not about being the biggest or the brightest. It’s about shining in your own special way.”
Luma thought about the Moon’s words. That night, instead of trying to outshine the others, she just twinkled happily in her own way.
Then something magical happened! A little girl on Earth looked up at the sky and saw Luma twinkling. “Look, Mommy!” she said, pointing. “That star is winking at me!”
From that night on, Luma became the little girl’s favorite star. She realized that she didn’t need to be the brightest—she just needed to shine for those who needed her light.
And so, Luma twinkled happily forever, knowing that she was special just the way she was.
The End.
